Guide 1: How to Find Your Ring Size

Although we always recommend going to an experienced jeweller to be sized, finding your ring size at home can be done. Choose the method below that best fits your needs.

Method 1: Measure a Ring You Already Own

This approach is ideal if you are purchasing a gift or already have a ring that perfectly fits the intended finger.

  1. Select a Base Ring: Choose a ring that comfortably fits the specific finger you are measuring.

  2. Measure the Internal Diameter: Take a standard ruler and measure the straight distance across the inside edge of the ring in millimeters (mm). Do not include the thickness of the metal band itself.

  3. Find Your Match: Compare your millimeter (mm) measurement to the Inner Diameter column in the table below to identify your size.

Method 2: Measure Your Finger Directly

If you do not have a reference ring, you can easily measure your finger using household items.

  1. Wrap Comfortably: Wrap a thin strip of paper or a piece of non-stretchy string around the base of the finger.

  2. Mark the Intersection: Use a fine-tip pen to mark the exact spot where the material overlaps to form a complete circle.

  3. Measure the Length: Lay the marked paper or string completely flat against a ruler and record the distance in millimeters (mm). This number represents your circumference.

  4. Determine Your Size: Match this number to the Inner Circumference column in the chart below.

Expert Sizing Tip: Fingers naturally change size throughout the day. For the most accurate results, measure your finger in the evening when it is warmest. If your final measurement falls between two sizes, we always recommend ordering the larger size for a more comfortable fit.

Guide 2: How to Find Your Bracelet Size

A properly sized bracelet sits on the wrist without being restrictive. Follow these simple steps to find your ideal fit.

Method 1: Measure an Existing Bracelet

If you already own a bracelet that drapes beautifully, use it as your baseline.

  1. Align Your Style: Select a bracelet that matches the general silhouette (chain, cuff, or bangle) you intend to buy.

  2. Measure End-to-End: Lay the jewelry entirely flat on a hard surface. Use a ruler to measure from the tip of the clasp all the way to the closing mechanism.

  3. The Bangle Rule: If you are measuring a solid, closed bangle, do not measure it flat. Instead, measure straight across the inner diameter at its widest point.

Method 2: Measure Your Wrist

For a tailored fit, measure the true circumference of your wrist and apply your preferred comfort spacing.

  1. Position and Wrap: Wrap a flexible tape measure, string, or paper strip snugly around your wrist bone right where you naturally wear your jewelry.

  2. Mark Your Spot: Use a pen to clearly mark where the starting end meets the overlapping material.

  3. Find the Base Measurement: Lay the material flat against a ruler to find your raw wrist size in either inches or centimeters.

  4. Calculate Your Final Size: To ensure comfort, add a spacing allowance to your raw wrist measurement based on how you like your jewelry to drape:

    • Snug Fit: Add 1/4 to 1/2 inch (approx. 0.6 to 1.3 cm).

    • Comfort Fit (Standard): Add 3/4 to 1 inch (approx. 2 cm).

    • Loose Fit: Add 1 to 1 1/4 inches (approx. 2.5 to 3 cm).

Expert Sizing Tip: Keep the profile of the jewelry in mind. Statement cuffs, chunky chain links, or pieces featuring large charms take up significant physical space on the inside of the band. For these statement styles, we recommend choosing one size larger than your standard measurement.
